Africa Zavala

  Africa Ivonne Zavala (Spanish pronunciation: 'afrika'sa'bala; born on August 12, 1985, in Mexico City, Mexico) is an actor from Mexico. She was graduated from CEA Televisa in the year 2008. In 2006, she starred alongside Jose Ron and Jessica Coch in the Telenovela Codigo postal. In 2008 she obtained an important role in the telenovela Cuidado con el angel as Elsa Maldonado San Roman, the cousin of the main character of the telenovela, sharing credits with Maite Perroni.In 2009, she received another starring role and travelled to Argentina to film the telenovela Los Exitosos Perez together with Ludwika Paleta and Jaime Camil.In 2010 she was selected as one of six main characters in the telenovela Para Volver a amar beside Rebecca Jones, Nailea Norvind, Alejandra Barros, Sophie Alexander and Zaide Silvia Gutierrez. She was a part of Ariadne Diaz, Alberto Estrella, and Elizabeth Alvarez in the telenovela Amorcito Corazon in 2011.
